Refund Policy

Last updated: June 26, 2026

This policy explains how billing, cancellations, and refunds work for your Assist Minds membership. It works together with our Terms of Service.

Subscriptions and renewals

Memberships are subscriptions billed through PayPal. A plan may begin with an introductory trial and then renews automatically (for example monthly) at the price shown before you subscribe. Your card or PayPal balance is charged at the start of each billing period.

Cancel anytime

You can cancel your membership at any time from My Account. Cancellation stops future renewals: you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again. We do not automatically pro-rate or refund the unused part of a period that has already started, except as described below or where required by law.

When we issue refunds

  • If something went wrong on our side (your expert never connected, or a technical fault prevented the help you paid for), we will make it right with a full or partial refund.
  • If you were charged in error or for a renewal you did not intend, contact us and we will review and refund where appropriate.
  • Optional one-time services that an expert offered but did not deliver are fully refundable.

Refunds for help that was already delivered are reviewed case by case. We may decline refunds in cases of clear abuse of the service.

How to request a refund

The easiest way is right inside the app: go to My Account, open Payments, and choose "Request a refund" on the relevant charge. Tell us briefly why, and our team will review your request and respond. You can also email support@assistminds.com from your account email with the payment details.

How refunds are paid

Approved refunds (full or partial) are issued through PayPal back to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer, they typically appear within 5 to 10 business days. If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us first so we can resolve it quickly rather than opening a dispute.
